Welcome to OceanWise Creations. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

OVERVIEW

OceanWise Creations operates an e-commerce website offering monthly subscription boxes containing laser-cut wooden ocean animal crafts and educational booklets for children ages 4–12. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of our products and subscriptions.

SECTION 1 — WEBSITE USE

By using our website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site.

SECTION 2 — ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and pricing on our website are accurate. However, we do not warrant that descriptions, colors, or other content are error-free, complete, or current. Product photos may vary slightly from the actual item due to differences in screens and photography. Each monthly craft features a different ocean animal, and specific animals are not guaranteed in advance.

SECTION 3 — PRODUCTS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

Our subscription boxes are physical products shipped monthly. Each box includes a laser-cut wooden ocean animal craft and a printed STEAM educational booklet. Art supplies (paint, markers, crayons) are not included — children use materials they already have at home.

SECTION 4 — PRICING AND PAYMENT

All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD). Prices are subject to change without notice, but any price change will not affect active subscriptions until the next renewal cycle. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including pricing errors.

Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.

Sales tax is calculated and applied automatically based on your shipping address, in accordance with applicable state and local tax laws.

SECTION 5 — SHIPPING

We currently ship within the United States. Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days. Shipping times and carriers may vary. OceanWise Creations is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

SECTION 6 — AGE RECOMMENDATION AND SAFETY

Our products are designed for children ages 4–12. Younger children should be supervised by an adult during assembly. Our crafts use sustainably sourced wood and are designed for use with standard white school glue. As with any craft product, small pieces may present a choking hazard for children under 3.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring the product is appropriate for their child and for supervising use as needed.

SECTION 7 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on our website — including text, images, logos, graphics, educational booklet content, and craft designs — is the property of OceanWise Creations and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our written permission.

SECTION 8 — CORAL GARDENERS PARTNERSHIP

OceanWise Creations donates 10% of subscription proceeds to Coral Gardeners, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This donation is made by OceanWise Creations on behalf of our subscribers. Purchases from OceanWise Creations are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.

SECTION 9 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OceanWise Creations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or subscription giving rise to the claim.

SECTION 10 — INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OceanWise Creations, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

SECTION 11 — GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.

SECTION 12 — CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
